Profile and background

My name is Roman Hauk. I trained as a machine-tool and production-line setter. I spent more than 30 years in industry, mainly automotive. I began by operating NC and CNC machines, later setting, programming and diagnosing faults on them. I helped introduce production lines, commission equipment and train both operators and maintenance personnel. Today I work as an external instructor in 3D printing, 3D modelling and Autodesk Fusion 360.

I also apply that technical mindset outside my professional work. I operate cryptocurrency mining with proceeds directed into BTC and work on household energy efficiency. I combine solar generation, battery storage and controlled miner operation to use more of my own energy and lower costs. I track consumption, electricity prices, hardware performance and real payback.
